Degerfors’ madness turns towards Sundsvall

Degerfors seemed to be writing history with the worst start for the Allsvenskan ever.

But in the last minutes, Abdel Rahman Al-Saeedi turned the match with an unexpected treble.

– Everyone talks about us shit but what happened? Three goals in ten minutes – damn everyone!

Everything indicated that Degerforce is writing history with seven straight losses at the Olsvenskan at the start of the season.

In the 74th minute, Sakho Yelatuba scored 2-0 for his jumbo rival Sundsvall and the darkness in Degerfors looked compact.

Then the substitute Abdul Rahman Al-Saidi, the owner of the number nine, entered the game. In the 84th minute hit the reduction. Five minutes later, he also set the equalizer, then most of the red and white were probably happy to avoid the zero loss.

But there will be more. Even more than Abd al-Rahman al-Saidi. In the fourth minute of extra time, he also scored 3-2 for the away team after again staying ahead of a ball in the penalty area.

“Damn everyone, period”

– I don’t think there is anything, it just happens, says Saidi to Discovery and continues:

It wasn’t fun to see Sundsvall go 2-0 up, I was really angry and upset. But we said all week we had to be positive and I think they became comfortable and we got angry and we scored three goals.

the coach Andreas Holmberg Barely understood what was happening.

– We looked beaten. But if there’s one thing dough lovers know, it’s that we never, ever, ever give up. Somehow we flip this match up, he says and continues:

When Saidi was asked to describe the feeling afterwards in the dressing room, he said, “It’s a mess.” And when club manager Lars Wiemann posted a video from there live on Twitter, it was, to say the least, a rush to victory. Al-Saeedi, who was wearing a wig, gave a heroic speech at the match:

– Here we did it! Everyone talks about us shit but what happened? Three goals in ten minutes – damn everyone!

It was signed by Lars Weimann when he uploaded the video:

“Damn everyone, period,” the club manager wrote.

“Unacceptable”

She was as happy as Diggerforce, as sad as she was Jeff Sundsvall. The fans left almost immediately after the 3-2 goal.

– It is unacceptable not to take three points. We were happy with the chances we created, but the last 10 minutes are totally unacceptable, says assistant coach Brian Clarhout on Discovery.

Hill Anton Eriksson has a hard time putting words to his chicken farm when he talks to Sundsvalls Tidning:

– It’s so embarrassing, I know what we’re doing. It’s just embarrassing, he says and continues:

– I don’t know. We are totally superior. Then there is a mental breakdown. We stop playing, we stop running, we stop getting into duels, we don’t want the ball, everyone becomes a coward… It doesn’t have to happen.

As if a meltdown weren’t enough: Pontus Enblom was forced to step down due to an injury early in the second half.
