The star’s recruitment is almost complete.
Manchester City confirms that the club has agreed with Dortmund on the transfer of Erling Haaland.
Now only the signature of the star remains.
Since Haaland signed Borussia Dortmund In 2020, he made a breakthrough in full force.
The Norwegian scored goals and in a short time became one of the most prominent strikers in the world.
After a total of 61 goals in 66 league games in Germany, Haaland is apparently leaving Dortmund – for Manchester.
Only the personal contract is missing
The Premier League giants now confirm on their website that they have reached an agreement with Dortmund over the transfer of the 21-year-old.
Manchester City wrote: “The transfer is made on the condition that the club completes the terms with the player.”
Haaland is said to be signing a contract that runs until 2027 with a weekly salary of six million kroner – four times what he earns at Dortmund. Hence, he also becomes the highest paid player in the English Premier League.
Its cost is 800 million
But it doesn’t stop there.
In March, the Norwegian was seen training in shoes of a different brand than before, something that indicates he has signed or is about to sign a new shoe contract. According to the German newspaper Bild, it gives Haaland about 100 million more annually.
The deal is also said to cost Manchester City 600 million Swedish kronor, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano – just over half of Haaland’s actual market value.
