Olle Alsing is ready for Leksand on a two-season contract

Lexand posted the “little mum Ollie” notes on social media.

A press release then followed that Olle Alsing is ready for the next two seasons.

The 26-year-old played for Dala Club for two seasons 2016-2018.

Leksand finished a higher promotion for next season in the SHL.

The offensively skilled defender returns to Sweden after trying to break into the Ottawa Senators and has played in the KHL and Austria for the last two seasons.

– Olle Alsing’s main qualities are his great movement, looks and scrolling gameplay, ability to read the game and his creativity. Olle Alsing is very safe in the situation and the way he solves difficult situations in the game with a tweak is a part that will help us tremendously. Despite his young age, Olle Alsing has done a lot and we are really looking forward to continuing his development across the board with us at Leksand, says sporting director Thomas “Tjomme” Johansson.

In Sweden, the son of Uppsala is known from Leksand, Djurgården and Mutuna.

– It will be fun to come back to Leksand and play in the arena in front of all the fans again. The last time I came to Lexand, the goal wasn’t to leave the SHL, while this time the goal is to win an SHL race and I’m looking forward to that challenge, says Olle Alsing.

He loves Djurgårdsspelare

Leksand had problems at the backside last season and Olle Alsing will be the first reinforcement in the position.

The players who have left Leksandre are Max Veronau, Emil Heinemann, August Berg, Lins Anderson and Axel Bragg.
