Scream for help from Swedish Hockey – 227 new testimonies

In recent days, several articles relating to national ice hockey schools as well as regulations regarding the agency’s activities within ice hockey have been published. Statements have been posted from parents who say the young people in our business feel bad and that is absolutely okay. It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that those active in our sport are cared for and satisfied.

From the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation we feel safe and proud of the model we have worked with for many years. We have clear regulatory documents on how activities are conducted in our high school hockey and there is additional training on these documents annually. We physically visit all high schools of hockey every year to prove this image – we have a good job in Swedish ice hockey. The Swedish Ice Hockey Association also conducts annual student assessments to keep track of how students/players feel and experience the activity. In assessments, schools receive high marks for their support and ability to adapt activities to students, and association teachers receive good grades from over 1,000 students within NIU activities.

There are several reasons for a player’s 3-year commitment when they are accepted into high school of hockey. We have a great responsibility to the schools to make it possible to build good business around the students, but also a responsibility to the association to take care of the players in the best way. Our experience is that the associations deal with any cases where players want to change the union in a good way and with good communication.

Some numbers that might be good to know are that 80% of students who are accepted into high school of hockey come from their own district. This indicates a high level of awareness among the associations about the players in the local area. The TV puck on the boys’ side plays 550 players and there are 378 seats in ice hockey high schools. 20% of students admitted to high school of hockey have not played disc television.

In addition to the national high schools for ice hockey, there are also 86 local high schools for ice hockey, many of which work hand in hand with the Swedish Ice Hockey League to develop skills and strengthen operations.

– On the part of Seiko, we do not recognize the image drawn in the media. No player or family will be liable for any compensation when changing clubs. The fact that agents are allowed to contact players early is not the answer to the issue, in Sekou’s view. It is conceivable that there may be players who would like to study in college, and with their athletic talent they can get paid for their college education. Then you are not allowed to get an agent or have had an agent because you are classified as a professional for your sport and therefore you risk not agreeing to play college hockey. An issue you may not have decided in the year you turned fifteen. Says Clara Steenberg, Acting Secretary General of SICO.
