Ystad took charge early in the game in the crowded Skövde Arena and led with a maximum of four goals in the first half – and 16-13 in the break since Kim Andersson fired a powerful shot from 12 meters in the last second.
Three obvious factors for Ystad’s progress at the break: several technical errors skipped, all of Ystad’s six-meter positions (11 goals in 12 ends) and the fact that the Scanians’ defense halted the Västgötlands game engine Matias Helt Jepsen.

Ystad had 24-21 with 12 minutes left, but three Scanian expulsions in less than two minutes propelled Skövde into the match again: 24-24.
But with a full crew, Ystad finally showed who’s the best this evening.
Skövde was never actually in the lead in the match, but it was still a drama until ten seconds left when Johan Dahlin blasted the 30-28 final score.
And so Ystad took the helm in the final series, which was decided in the top five and where he awaits the next match at Ystad already on Saturday.
But with it all, Kim Anderson disagrees.
– We sat in a damn good seat. But we were counted throughout the playoffs and still counted. The big C More star says Skövde is the one with the favorite name.
