Malmö FF has won the Swedish Cup most of the time. Specifically 14 times. But the last time the MFF won the cup was in 1989, 33 years ago. This afternoon, when the defending champion Sweden faces the cup champion, Malmö FF wants to break that dismal wing.

How do you see this match and the chance of winning the title, as an opportunity to turn the tide of a season that so far has meant some losses?
– These are the titles we are looking for and we always want to win titles. We know we didn’t get the start of the season we wanted. It’s a cup final and a very important match, but we also know it’s a long season and not a decisive match for our season.
“Puts the most pressure on me”
Coach Milos Milojevic also shied away from talking that his job would be in jeopardy.
– I put the main pressure on myself, it has always been this way. When you choose to be a soccer coach, you know you will always live with the press. Especially in a big club like MFF who got two gold medals in Sweden in a row and also played in the Champions League.
– But that’s not something I think about, he says.
Do you feel confident in the management of the club?
– yes I do.
