Boris Becker Changed Prison – From Wandsworth to Hannercombe

Less than a month ago, Boris Becker was serving his sentence in Wandsworth Terror Prison.

But now the tennis icon had to leave the establishment for HMP Huntercombe.

“The level of security is low,” his lawyer told The Times.

Boris Becker He was sentenced at the end of April to 2.5 years in prison for hiding assets when he was personally declared bankrupt.

Immediately after the referee’s announcement, the tennis icon was transferred to the infamous Wandsworth Foundation.

There, Baker complained about the food, reportedly disturbing both guards and on the nerves of his fellow prisoners.

The Times now writes that Boris Becker had to change prison to HMP Huntercombe.

Boris Becker has been transferred to Hanercombe Prison today. His lawyer told the newspaper that he is of Class C, which means his security level is low.

Room for 400 guests

HMP Huntercom was built during World War II and opened in 1946. The establishment was previously a youth organization for people between the ages of 15 and 18 before it closed in 2010.

It was then closed for a few months before reopening in October of the same year as a Class C prison with a capacity of about 400 inmates.

Today, the institution has a place only for foreign nationals who are mainly waiting for deportation.

Baker has lived in the UK since 2012, but he should never have become a British citizen, which could mean he is automatically deported.

This is because he is a foreign national who does not hold British citizenship and has been sentenced to more than twelve months in prison.
