There will be an exciting golf match on Sunday in Halmstad.
Lyn Grant is in the lead before the final day’s game and is chased by Henrik Stenson – who could claim his first win in Sweden.
It’s a mixed competition, but it’s just a woman who seems to have something to do with victory. She is Swedish.
Lynn Grant Four birds and one eagle, a total of six hits below par, were observed in the third round of the Scandinavian mixed at Halmstad.
The 22-year-old from Helsingborg admired his calm play in front of the home crowd and walked the field without a speck.

the only woman
Grant is the only woman among the top 15 women in the starting field, which is made up of as many men as there are women. Before the final day, she was ahead at -16, one two stroke ahead of Jason Scrivener of Australia, and one way ahead of Henrik Stenson.
It was a very stable day again, she tells Viaplay.
– I think it’s fun. I’m here to play golf and I hope it takes me all the way, and if it does, I win for all women.
About the duel with Stinson:
– If someone said five years ago that I was going to play against a British Open winner and maybe win against him… that’s crazy. But awesome.
Stenson was initially in a great golf mood during game day three.
It was a birdie on all the first three holes and then two more soon after that. After nine holes, Stenson was five hits below par for the day and on his way to the top.
– It’s been a little up and down again. I got off to a good start, one or two hits certainly could have been better after the first nine holes as I had good placements on many of the holes, he tells Viaplay.
But on the way home, the Swede had some worse rashes and ended up out of the driveway on several occasions.
It was noted that there were two ghosts, but he returned with two bird tongs, in slots 16 and 18.
“I feel like I’m there, thanks to the late birds,” says Stinson.
First victory?
Stenson has never won a European Tour competition on Swedish soil and now has a chance to do so.
In Scandinavian mixed, the ladies and gentlemen play in the same competition. The event was Henrik Stenson and Annika Sorenstam as “hosts”.
Christopher Broberg is the third best Swede in fifth. He’s six strokes behind Lane Grant.
Abyss Ingrid Lindblad, who made quite a splash with an impressive result at this week’s US Open, went into the round by a subpar one-stroke and was found to be a pole position, joint 37th.
