Malmö FF aims to strengthen the team this summer.
According to Norwegian information from Sportbladet, the club has now made a preliminary offer for Viking striker Stavanger Veton Berisha, 28.
But the Vikings rejected the offer and the parties are now far apart.

Sportbladet revealed earlier that the club wanted to bring in Isak Jansson of Kalmar FF and Sasa Zjeldar of Partizan Belgrade. Talks are still going on with Jansson and the first contact was made to try to liberate Zgildar from Belgrade.
According to Bosnian media, the defensive midfielder has a clause allowing him to leave for just over five million kroner, which Fotboll Skåne previously reported. Employment will total approximately SEK 20 million with this transitional amount, plus salary, login bonus and social security contributions.

Meanwhile, Norway’s Nettavisen now states that the MFF has made an offer to shooting king Veton Berisha, 28, about whom Sportbladet also has information.
Milos Milojevic knows Berisha well when Hammarby tried to recruit the player last year, and the MFF also had Berisha on their wish list to consider new acquisitions this summer, but there they recruited Isaac Casey Tellin instead.
But now MFF is making a new attempt with Berisha. Ola Toivonen’s contract is expiring and there is much to suggest that the season will be the last striker at the 36-year-old, although nothing has been fully decided yet.

Berisha has played a total of 10 matches at the national level for Norway and has played for Greuter Fürth in Germany and Rapid Vienna in Austria, among others.
