SVT profile Dusan Umešević becomes a father.
Now Aftonbladet tells about the great happiness.

For sports fans, Dusan Umicicevic is a famous face, not least from “Hockey Night”. But as of Monday, he’s a summer substitute on “Morgonstudion” where he’s taking over broadcasting alongside, among others, experienced Ann-Britt Ryd Pettersson.
In addition, he became a father to a son with his partner Rebecca Randhawa who works in “Utrikesbyrån” on SVT.
– I just finished my first morning session at Morning Studio so I feel a little dizzy. Otherwise it is good. But it’s great to be a father. Omisevich says to Aftonbladet: I don’t sleep for many minutes, but you are so happy to see me.
– It’s so cool. I can’t let go of his eyes, he’s so cute, but that’s all the parents say. But of course it’s a challenge, she’s starting work now and Rebecca is on maternity leave so she has to take on the heavy burden.
Dusan Omisevich says the birth went as planned.
– Everything went well. He was born by planned caesarean section and when he came out and we heard the scream, me and Rebecca broke. There was a lot of emotion.
Although Dusan Omisevich was two meters and six centimeters tall, the son was “average in size,” according to the new father.
He weighed about four kilograms and was fifty-two centimeters tall. There was no Carlin. You can believe it when you see me, but I had the same measurements when I once came into the world, he says and laughs.
The new parents have already approved the name they both like.
– We have decided that Novak is a tennis player, but he has nothing to do with him but we think he is a simply beautiful Serbian name.
Like I said, Umicicevic is at “Morning Studio” this summer, and it’s something he’s enjoying.
– Yes, it was my manager Åsa Edlund Jönsson who asked if I could imagine driving this summer. I nibbled and thought it would be fun before I really understood what it meant. Now that I’m a father to the kids, I know this is going to be a real challenge. How the hell did you think, if we are to speak clearly. To get up in the middle of the night to work and then work in the evening to prepare for tomorrow’s broadcast. But there’s a good team around broadcasting with researchers so it’s working.
Are you getting any vacation all this summer?
– She broke free from work a month after he arrived on May 27th. Now I will work until the end of the year, then Rebecca will return to her job at the State Department. Then I have to take a step back. I will be on paternity leave, either early in the year or a little later.
