Yeremzhev leads the shooting league by a net against Elfsburg

Alexander Geremjiev scored for the eighth consecutive match.

His full hit against Elfsborg means he now has the longest target group in the Allsvenskan since 1965.

– Score a fun goal or what shall I say, says Jeremejeff on Discovery Plus.

Simon Olsson gave Elfsburg a long lead against Haken when he was clean in the penalty area and had plenty of time to lead 0-1.

Häcken had to rely on his top scorer when the team chased the equalizer.

Alexander Geremjev – who also scored a goal ruled out for offside early in the match – got the ball at his feet in a chaotic situation in the attacking penalty area. He finally managed to put feet and ball together and scored a goal for the eighth game in a row.

Register for Jeremejeff

Jeremejeff leads the Allsvenskan shooting league so far and has scored twelve goals in eleven matches. According to Discovery Plus, no player has scored in eight consecutive Allsvenskan games since 1965.

– Had a bit of trouble in front of goal. There will be a little chaos. He might be a little lucky. I try to stay calm and find a little gap, says Jeremejeff in Discovery Plus between halftime.

– It was fun, score a fun goal or what to say.

“He wasn’t joking”

The record goal was the last in the 1-1 draw. Thus, Häcken leads Allsvenskan by one point over Djurgården and AIK.

Elfsborg is the seventh in the series.

The hedge has a lot of ball, they are good at dropping it in the middle of the field. I think we’re dangerous with changes and that might be an advantage for Haken, but I wouldn’t be ashamed if we’d come from here with three points, captain Johan Larsson says at Discovery Plus.
