Sweden has always been under pressure from Switzerland.
But at the end of the match, 19-year-old Hanna Benison stepped forward and settled the matter.

The favorite in Sweden was heavy ahead of the European Championship Group B match. After 1-1 at the premiere, it was time to beat Switzerland.
But the first half was just what Blue and Yellow had hoped for. After 45 minutes of playing, the Swedish national team hardly created an opportunity to score goals.

National captain Peter Gerhardsson opted not to make any changes immediately after the break – but Sweden still looked to dominate the match. The profit will come in the 53rd minute through Fridolina Rulfo.
After playing well in depth, the Barcelona star went free against the goal, and she could easily press with a 1-0 goal.
Joy is for Blågult – but the exhilaration is stuck in the throat. Barely two minutes into the lead goal, Hedvig Lindahl erred off the post. It ended with a goalkeeper boxing with Ramona Bachmann, who was able to draw 1-1.
Giant talent decided
But Sweden can breathe a sigh of relief. With just over ten minutes of normal playing time remaining, the ball ended up with 19-year-old Hannah Benison cutting on the edge of the penalty area. A powerful shot passed against the far post and the 2-1 goal for Sweden was a reality.
– The goal can not be in time. Oh, what Sweden needed, because Sweden is not in equilibrium, says Markus Johansson.
Switzerland tried to press for a new equaliser while Blågult created several situations to close the match. Among other things, Sweden scored two goals that were ruled out for offside. However, there were no more goals, and therefore Sweden managed to collect the first three points of the tournament.
The group match will be decided on Sunday when Sweden faces Portugal.
