According to Sportbladet’s experience, several clubs are showing great interest in Gustav Berggren, including two of Poland’s top clubs, whose upstart, Rakow Czestochowa, will be at the forefront of discussions.
Rakow, a newcomer to Ekstraklassa three years ago, has finished second in the league in the past two seasons, but has also become the Polish Cup champion for two years in a row.
In May, Rakow, who is entering the second qualifying round of the Conference League in a week, defeated champions Lech Poznan along with Sweden’s Mikael Isaac and Jesper Karlstrom in the cup final.
Rakow Czestochowa is owned by wealthy Polish IT magnate Michal Swierczewski.
Recently in March of this year Gustav Berggren signed a new agreement with Häcken. The contract, which was supposed to expire in December this year, has been extended until the end of December 2023.
