Before the season, Kristjan Ceh didn’t win a single contest Daniel Stoll. This year, the situation was the other way around. Admittedly, Daniel Stahl came to Eugene with the world’s best year to his name but also a 1-5 at the joint meetings.
Now it is 1-6.
Kristjan Ceh showed his class in the World Cup Final when he was completely calm and improved the tournament record by nearly a meter to 71.13.

– I felt 71 was too easy, so I thought there was more, but it didn’t come today, he says.
Seeh himself suffered a doomed throw of late in Tokyo. He thinks today’s message has shaken Ståhl.
– For me it changed everything, mentally I wasn’t there after that. Very difficult to reload.
“He can come back”
Throwing just over 71 meters in calm winds indicates greater capacity in good conditions. He himself believes that the world record 74.08 is within reach.
– Anything is definitely possible. It can take time, and you don’t know when it will come. It might be in two or three years, it might be in six years. To break a world record, you should choose competitions where there are good conditions to beat. Then it is possible.
But already in exactly one month it will be the final of the discus throw at the European Championship. Kristjan Ceh admits that the change of throne has now taken place, but he does not intend to count the old king.
– If Daniel can come back? Yes he can. He has good technique and is the same guy so he can come back.
