Chester / Stockholm. Hanna Glass came out of her isolation from Corona.
Yesterday she returned to training and is now ready to play in the semi-final against England.
– It was too heavy. “Where did this come from?” says the defender.
Jonah Anderson and Hannah Glass have been removed from the squad due to positive Corona reports.
Now Glass talks about two days in which she compares to a rollercoaster.
Mentally tough, but I’m very happy that we won the quarter. It was so hard to get the news, I thought “Where did this come from?” And if you played your last game in EC. Many questions came to mind.
“I woke up in the middle of the night – I couldn’t sleep”
Aside from a slight sore throat and a slight cough, Glass has not developed serious symptoms, she says, similar to Spring and the Bayern Munich team.
– We had a Corona mess there, and then I was on vacation for four weeks and let the corona go a little. Then now, when you did nothing… bad timing. Really boring.
Waiting for test results was nerve-wracking.
– I had a test that was fairly positive, I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t sleep. In the morning it was the same feeling, and there was such a feeling of relief and joy that there were no two lines on the test.
The jubilation when Linda Sembrandt made it 1-0 in overtime knew no bounds.
– I stood in my bed and screamed straight away, says Hanna Glass and laughs.
