On Monday evening, the former NHL star was arrested at a Nashville airport.

There are now reports from the United States that the 35-year-old was arrested at Nashville Airport on the evening of July 25.
‘Danger to self’
Local news site scoopnashville.com writes that Ryan was about to steal merchandise from an airport store but left merchandise on the counter when staff spotted him.
Then the police found Bobby Ryan very drunk in a bar and he had to spend the night in a drunken cell. The police wrote in their report that Ryan was very drunk and was not willing to cooperate.
“Ryan didn’t know where he was, what day and what time it was and he was a danger to himself.”write the police.
Police also wrote that the airport store chose not to report Bobby Ryan for theft and was released from his sugar cell eight hours later.

The reports from Nashville police come two years after Bobby Ryan revealed he was an alcoholic. Then he took a hockey time out and was taped home for treatment.
When Ryan then came home to the then-Ottawa Senators, he made a triple count and the National Hockey League praised him for his battle against addiction.
