Sweden’s Julia Burgström wins the Tour de France Femme

Giulia Burgstrom has had great success at the Tour de France.

The 21-year-old now has the white leader jersey, which means she’s the best cyclist under the age of 23.

– It’s wonderful. It’s a dream come true, Burgstrom tells Eurosport.

On Thursday, Swedish cyclist Julia Burgstrom was part of a massive crash on the fifth stage of the Tour de France.

The next day, things went even better for the 21-year-old as he made his way from Saint-Dié-des-Vosges to Rosheim.

Burgstrom finished 20th by bike, which means she will be wearing white. Burgstrom grabbed the leader’s jersey as the best U-23 rider at the Tour de France.

She saw the opportunity to take over the U23 leader’s jersey before Friday’s stage.

– That was definitely the goal today. Burgstrom says the whole team went after it, so it was great to have it.

She is 14 seconds ahead of the leader’s jersey, Julie de Wilde of Belgium. Behind him there is a huge gap (1 minute 35 seconds) down to Misha Bredewold in third.

In the overall tour ranking, Julia Burgstrom took 23rd place.

Now Burgstrom will guard the jersey through the final two stages.

– I’ve never biked in these mountains before, so it’s definitely going to be a challenge, but we’re committed to it one hundred percent, I told Eurosport.
