Sugary fights derailed

Tovchenbayar was sentenced to 16 years in prison for the murder of Erdenibilgin Enkhbat – Tovchenbayar’s childhood friend and former wrestling star.

The murder took place on April 2, 2021. According to international media, it was a drunken brawl that derailed and ended with Tovchenbayar attacking Enkhbat and hitting him in the head with a “heavy tool”.

Enkhbat sustained severe brain damage and lost consciousness and died a few days later in hospital.
