Tove Alexanderson ran fast but was wrong on the dense green terrain.
It was a dramatic race with stress after the hurdles.
‘It shouldn’t happen’
In the end, Tove Alexanderson lost her third straight EC gold in the long run by a relatively narrow margin.
I wasn’t there mentally, though my body was working. I was never in the race and didn’t have the enthusiasm. There were cases of lost throughout the race. I wouldn’t make these mistakes, it shouldn’t happen, says Tove Alexanderson.
On the platform, disappointment was clearly visible with a large long, bloody scar on the right cheek.
In mentoring, Tove Alexanderson has already earned ten WC medals (eight gold) and six EC medals (six gold).
