Simon Peterson’s coach Vestin Hafsteinson believes Simon can grow and throw just over 70 meters in time for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Now he thinks he can come close to the world record.

Simon Pettersson has had a steep development curve since coming to Vesteinn and started throwing 49.71 when he was nineteen years old in 2013.
After nine years, it is getting better every year, and if it continues to evolve, it will evolve even more next year. And the next – the Olympic year 2024.
Simon himself is happy when he hears Feisten’s thoughts.

– I also feel like I have a lot left over. I can gain another five kilograms and I can raise another level in capacity.

– Yes, he is the man to be overcome. It is very likely that he will be the one to break the world record. The only question is when.
