In the first half, Kalmar took the lead but had to see the goal not allowed.

Then Oliver Berg became a great hero and scored the only goal of the match with a penalty kick.
After a strong first half by Kalmar, they scored a final goal behind AEK goalkeeper Christopher Nordfeldt. The goal was disqualified after a debate between the judges.
After Kalmar played the ball just outside the penalty area, Romario found Papa Diouf on the right wing who pushed 1-0, he believed.
It looked like an offside, something AIK players cried for, but the assistant referee’s flag stayed low for a long time. After minutes of discussion between the referees they decided not to allow the goal – Diouf was offside.

And it was.
Many initially thought that an AIK player was on the ball before it even got to guests. Then it was found that Kalmar’s foot had been on the ball before and therefore the goal was disqualified.
– From what we see in the pictures, it’s a very good decision by the judges together. It’s a tough situation where things go incredibly quickly, but you can see that Diouf is on the wrong side, Per Hanson continues.
There were no major protests from the Kalmar players who played and instead chased a certified goal, which eventually did.
The first goal with penalty kicks
After Eric Otieno dropped Kalmar player Oliver Berg in the penalty area, the home team received a penalty kick.

When Berg stepped up to take the penalty, it was the same safety.
He put the ball softly on the left crossbar. 1-0 for Kalmar was a reality.
The penalty kick was the only goal of the match and Oliver Berg ended up as the big hero of the match for Kalmar who consequently got important points. The team is now in seventh place but a few points behind the top teams.
