Djurgaarden came to Wienwidswain in Varnamo with nine straight wins in the Olsvenskan and European qualifiers and a chance to pull out of AEK and Malmö who lost earlier on Sunday.
But they came without one of their coaches. Kim Bergstrandwho was ill and stayed at home in Stockholm.
Djurgården then only managed to draw 0-0 against the newcomer, who has lost only two home games and has points against both Malmö and Hammarby here.
But it doesn’t seem that the point loss was due to Kim Bergstrand’s departure, if you ask the animal farmer.

– Hahahaha! I didn’t think about it. The fellow coach replied I didn’t feel like that.
Oh really?!
– We see each other every day. But obviously, there are two of us and I’d rather be two, so I’d rather be here.
Was it different without Kim Hjalmar Agdal?
It won’t be any different for anyone, says the centre-back who was left out of the starting line-up for the first time this year and replaced as an inside midfielder in the second half when Rasmus Schuller was injured.
When asked if Bergstrand’s absence had affected the team and performance, Magnus Ericsson replied:
– No, we’re used to having Kim on the bench, but he was at home today and was able to see him from there.
The opponent believes in the gold difference
Lagerlöf took the point loss calmly.
– We’re making a serious ethical effort today even though it didn’t really flow today. You have to take that sometimes. You can’t win every football match and Varnamo did really well today, especially in the first half, he says.
Farnamo coach Kim Helberg was very satisfied with his team’s efforts in just over half a game.
