Hammarby recruits Montander Madjed and Casper Eklund

Hammarby looks set to sign twice during the penultimate day out the window.

Varberg’s Muntadir Majid is now all set for Bagen – and the club is also working to sign Casper Eklund from Östers IF.

Final negotiations are underway and Hammarby hopes to introduce Ecklund soon.

Last summer, 17-year-old Kasper Eklund was transferred to Östers IF’s A team. He previously performed well in the club’s Under-19 team.

It’s such a pleasure for our academy’s work that we’ve produced a player who is now stepping into the first team environment. Casper is one of the many young players who have made great strides during the year and have developed admirably.

For us, this is also a result of the academy coaches giving our players a good education and creating a good environment for development, as then-Academy Director Peter Weberan told the club’s official website in August, when the promotion was completed.

Ready for my war

But now it looks like the march will continue in Hammarby. According to Sportbladet information, the club is close to completing Eklund. Nothing has been signed or completely finished, but everything is going as it should, Baggen is hoping to introduce the 18-year-old soon. They’ll get him into Team A via HTFF in Division One, where he’ll start. Eklund played a game right from the start in this year’s Superetta.

The same also applies to the glorified starter from Varberg, who is now completely ready for the club. SportExpress was the first to report that Majed was close to moving to Hammarby. If nothing unexpected happens, both players will soon be served.
