About two weeks ago, Nicolas Ladan announced that he was putting his football boots on the shelf.
Even then he hinted at the continuation of his football career.
Now the 29-year-old reveals himself that he has become a scout for Serie B club Genoa.
“I am very proud and honoured,” Ladan tells Sportbladet.
After a career in several Swedish clubs, Nikola Ladan, who recently represented FC Landskrona BoIS in the Premier League, has announced that he is ending his career.

It was a secret – but now it’s clear how it stays in football. As for Sportbladet, the 29-year-old tells that he is ready to be the new Scandinavian scout siri bGenoa Club.
“I am very proud and honored to belong to the prestigious association and ambitious club,” says Ladan.
“There is a nice market”
The assignment includes responsibility for the entire Scandinavian market and he has already started in this role. Over the past months as a player, he held the position in parallel.
– I think there’s a nice market here as we’ve gotten better and better in recent years. Then we will see what I have to offer. If something is good enough, says Ladan, it is there, and if not, it is not.
How is your scouting eye?
– I think we’ll see. I say what I see, what I feel and think. That’s the beauty of football, you can think differently about everything. But I hope it’s good enough.
If we get more Scandinavian players in Italy, are you doing a good job?
– HHHH Yes. Now it is up to proof. Now I have some stress, but I’ve lived with that my whole life.
