Five Swedes in the Round of 16 at the European Table Tennis Championships – take a medal
Five of the 16 remaining singles players in the European Commission are Swedes.
Already after the 16-part final, it became clear that there was a new Swedish medal in table tennis.

The five Swedish players won all their matches in the round of 16 at the European Championships in Munich.
Later on Friday, the Round of 16 finalists await, including Anton Kahlberg and Matthias Falk as well Trolls Morigarde and John Pearson against each other.
The draw guarantees Sweden the European Championship medal as the winners of the Round of 16 meet in the quarter-finals.
Christian Carlson, in turn, will face France’s Alexis Lebrun, who is ranked twelfth in the world, after the Swede defeated his younger brother, 15-year-old Felix Lebrun.
Troll’s favorite for gold
WC Truls Möregårdh silver medalist ranks first in EC, and the 20-year-old is ranked sixth best European in the world rankings.
Anton Kallberg is sixth in Europe, Christian Karlsson is seventh, Matthias Falk is 15th, and Jon Pearson is 19th.
World champions Matthias Falk and Christian Karlsson won the EC gold in the doubles, and Anton Kallberg and John Pearson took the bronze after losing the semi-finals to Sweden.
Also staying in the starting field was the 41-year-old German legend Timo Ball.
The Round of 16 will begin at 15:55 on Friday afternoon.
The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be played on Saturday and the final on Sunday.
