Varberg. Italian reports claim Isaac Heane, 23, is very close to Hellas Verona.
Verona fans are notorious for the many racist attacks on opponents.
– We’ll see how it affects my decision, says Djurgardenstyarnan.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Scherra, Isak Hien from Djurgården is very close to moving to Hellas Verona.
Last year’s schedule No. 9 in Seria A should be ready to pay around 40 million kroner for a center back to the blue lines and win a tug-of-war against, among others, Torino and Slavia Prague.
Confirms great interest
After Djurgården’s 2-2 draw against Varberg in Allsvenskan on Saturday, Isak Hien says on the information:
– I’m not ready for any team.
Are you near Hellas Verona?
– It’s hard to say. Nothing is clear. There were many clubs interested and Djurgården as a party must be satisfied as well.
Verona seems very modern?
– It’s relevant, yes, says Hen with a wry smile. But no team is out of the game.
The 23-year-old gets more serious when a more difficult topic surrounding the club is brought up from northeastern Italy.
Ultras Hellas Verona in Corva Nord has a history of expressing far-right views and racist slurs directed against opponents.
In 2019, sections of Verona fans harassed Mario Balotelli (then in Brescia). At the Serie A premiere a week ago, the same fans turned on Victor Osimhen of Naples.
I got a great position
– It’s something to consider. But I wouldn’t say anything more than that, says Isaac Henn, who says he is aware of the behavior that has been heavily criticized by Verona fans.
We haven’t made a decision yet and I haven’t looked into it much. But I know similar situations. Hen continues: We’ll see how that affects my decision.
He started the meeting with Varberg on the bench, but entered in the 76th minute and got a great position – as a striker – to make it 3-2 at the end of overtime.
– It’s such a good position that you almost score there, he says. But this is football, sometimes the ball doesn’t want to go in and sometimes it gets a cleaner hit.
– It would have been nice if I came in. Given the flow we’re in now, it would have been a nice turn.
Djurgården has saved many players and losing points can be crucial in the battle for gold.
It’s always easy to be late. We shouldn’t talk about it too much. We had tough matches in Europe and we did really well. We have to try to keep everyone healthy and fresh so we can continue to perform.
One game left?
Everything indicates that there are not many matches in Djurgården for Lahn.
Do you think you’ll leave before you close the window?
– Yes I think so. But nothing is certain. Everything can happen in football.
– I’m going to Cyprus and playing against Apoel, says Isak Hien. There’s no way I’d miss that match.
Recently, there has also been a major focus on Hien’s agent, Blash Hosseini, who, among other things, was transferred to Olympia by Helsingborgs IF.
– I’ve read a lot. I don’t care much. I have had a relationship with Blash since before I came to Djurgården and know him well. The world of football is a private industry.
If anyone finds an agent who has nothing bad to say about him, it would be nice to hear about it. I don’t think this agent exists, says Isaac Henn.
