Golf: LIV Tour Proposal Revealed

A contract proposal to play the Saudi-funded golf tour has been leaked.

Players are not allowed to conduct any exclusive interviews without consent and must help recruit new golfers for the tour.

The Saudi Arabia-funded tour attracts players with billions of dollars.

Now new details have been revealed in the agreements.

The Wall Street Journal saw a decade show from the LIV tour.

Below are the requirements in the contract

Players may not conduct any exclusive interviews in connection with any events or tourism activities unless approved by LIV Golfs. They must play in LIV Golfs-branded clothing regardless of the competition they are playing in to promote the criticized round, should other visible sponsor logos be required.

However, they are not allowed to play all the competitions they want. In the same week as the LIV event, players are prohibited from participating in another competition. There was no signing bonus in the contract offer, but if they win a major, they will be awarded a bonus of just over 10 million kroner. They will also help recruit new players for the tour, the Wall Street Journal revealed according to the Daily Mail.

It remains unclear whether the contract applies to all players and if it is negotiable.
