Sweden beat Denmark in the Women’s Ice Hockey World Cup • Hannah Olsson dominated

Hanna Olsson dominated the WC premiere in Sweden.

She scored a hat-trick and played with Denmark’s defense as the women’s crowns won 5-2.

– This is one of the biggest talents in Swedish hockey, says expert Maria Roth at SVT.

Sweden secured Russia’s status in the A-WC World Cup and the start of the women’s crowns in the tournament was swinging.

Hosts Denmark got the start of their dream when Emma Russell scored the first goal in the match against Sweden in the second minute.

Olson is the heart of the game

Then Sweden’s answer came at lightning speed in the same minute of the match.

Hannah Olson set the tone and gave a hint of what would happen when she caught the tie on her own.

The defenders did not keep up when Olsson advanced in front of the penalty area and placed in style 1-1.

-It was of course great to be able to hang it there for my first change of match, says Olson on SVT.

Olsson then gave Sweden the lead in the second half, and if the first goal was a great individual performance, the second was a purely individual goal.

Sweden won 5-2 in the opening match against Denmark in the WC.

Sweden won the premiere

Hannah Olsson turned opponents on its head Emma Russell and Maria Peters stood in defense and watched Olsson score 2-1 against Sweden.

– I love that cold, says expert Maria Roth at SVT.

Then I went to pay tribute to the 23-year-old who has struggled with major injury issues so far in his career.
