Häcken fans demand gold in the home hunt against Bajen and MFF

Guthenberg. Häcken fans’ dream is for the team to win SM gold.

The condition is that the supporters themselves should not end up at a disadvantage at home.

The club should not be intolerant of high-heeled shoes, says Getingarna club president, Johannes Jensen.

On Saturday, Round 20 begins in Allsvenskan when league leaders IFK receive Värnamo at home at the Bravida Arena in a match in which Häcken is the favorite to win both on the field and in the stands.

But in the hunt for the club’s first historic gold for SM, Häcken still has to face the biggest rivals Hammarby and Malmo FF on the homeland.

Big clubs that come with a large number of followers and whose presence can raise the level of their teams.

Who buys tickets?

After the recent victory over Sirius, many Hisingsklubben supporters expressed concern that Häcken club management would be too liberal in awarding many tickets to fans of the visiting big clubs.

– As long as Häcken realizes that tickets are sold in the sections of the house that go to sympathetic spectators of the house, they are under control, says Johannes Jensen, president of the Getingarna fan club.

We must not be too tolerant as a union with ticket sales and risk our land becoming a distant land.

Club Director Marcus Godin:

– Visiting teams are entitled to receive ten percent of the spectator capacity, or approximately 650 tickets. Practically speaking, it is possible to accommodate 950 spectators in the remote section of the Bravida Arena.

– We are confident we can beat both Hammarby and MFF even if they fill that division. Jodin says it’s also about improving communication and teaching our audience to buy tickets on time. This reduces the risk of distant fans reaching more seats.

From the Bravida Arena (and Rambergsvallen before that) being a relatively quiet plaza, booster and Häckenklacken culture has grown in Section G (parts of the northern short side) in recent years.

It’s not related

I don’t think we are discriminated against at home these days. We are growing exponentially and have discussed the possibility of expanding our division and converting the short side seats to standing position. Johannes Jensen says it’s been basically crowded this whole season in our heel department and totally packed with 900 people on several occasions, so there’s real potential there.

There is one thing that both the Häcken Club Manager and Head of Supporters 100% agree on.

Can you move a crucial match to one of the largest arenas in central Gothenburg?

– No, absolutely not, says Marcus Godin. We play our home games at the Bravida Arena. The move is not in question at all.

At the crowd table, Häcken is 11th with an average of 4,385 spectators so far. The Bravida Arena has a maximum capacity of 6,500 spectators.

For the meeting with Hammarby on September 17, 5,000 tickets have been sold so far.

Moving to one of Gothenburg’s largest arenas such as Nya Ullevi for Häcken is out of the question.
