With three consecutive victories behind them, Arsenal had high hopes for another home win against newcomers Fulham.
And the London red and white team entered the match without both key players Thomas Partey and Oleksandr Zinchenko, both of whom had injuries. Arsenal would have had difficulty destroying Fulham.
The main goal of the match came after a mistake by Arsenal’s central defender Gabriel in the second half. The defender received the ball in his team’s penalty area, but quickly got rid of it. Aleksandar Mitrovic pressed and won the ball and finished the match safely.

Ödegaard scores again
The response came in the 64th minute. Bukayo Saka played forward for Martin Odegaard, who moved away with a shot. The Norwegian finish was channeled through Fulham’s players into goal, after Bernd Leno was fouled in goal.
It was Odegaard’s third goal in his first four matches.
The 2-1 goal also came in the 85th minute. We just mentioned Leno, the former Arsenal goalkeeper, the focus of attention. The German missed an outside box for a corner and Gabriel was up front and clipped. The central defender had to avenge the previous mistake and was thus able to give the home team the lead.
Then Arsenal trailed and 2-1 meant the team’s fourth win in a row. With that, the London club tops Premier League.
