Laureate-Sadeko-Hamarby long-term disease after infection with the virus

Lorette Sadiko has been away from football for two months.

Now he talks about the problems that hit him after the Covid-19 disease.

– says the midfielder with difficulty.

After starting all but one of the games in the spring, the Lorette Sadiko Missing from Hammarby’s squad for the past two months.

Before the match against Elvesburg in July, the midfielder contracted the virus. However, he was off the bench against Varberg the following week, and then the setback came.

– I started training very early after contracting the coronavirus. There was some infection that hit after that. I didn’t feel 100%. No energy, his legs are completely dead, says Sadiku and continues:

– I was bad at first and then when I started training, I felt like it wouldn’t work. It was the same when I walked, I could hardly walk. But I’m fine now.

How was it to stay away from football?

– It was a lot of work, but health always comes first. You don’t know what covid is, that’s the sick thing about it. But I didn’t think much about it, it was sad not being able to play football.

What were you doing when you were away?

– I have two children, but I couldn’t play with them because I’m completely bedridden. But I tried to take care of them, played PlayStation and watched all the series out there.

“Tense as hell”

Sadiku was bedridden for two weeks and has since suffered a few setbacks on the way back. After a week of laying off, he was able to ramp up his training last week and is now running at full speed.

– It’s crazy fun. There are such nice guys here and it’s fun to hang out with them and play football. There is nothing better.

How does the look feel?

– It’s okay actually. I didn’t lose much in terms of fitness, but muscle, little short steps, you obviously lost quite a bit there when you didn’t do anything for a month and a half.

How was watching the matches from the side lines?

– Nervous as hell. You are more nervous when you watch than when you play, so it was challenging but fun.

Sadiku hasn’t played a match since the last derby against Djurgården on July 3. He himself does not know yet whether he will take part in Sunday’s derby.

– We take it day by day. They keep asking me how I’m feeling checking my heart rate all the time, but it’s been fine lately. Maybe I could have been on the team as you feel now, but I don’t know how I’m going to respond tomorrow. this is the problem.
