Jan Andersson’s central defensive crisis didn’t get any easier after Derby 08 on Sunday.
My decision is firm, so he doesn’t have to call, says Danielson.
During the last gathering of the Nations League, Jan Andersson had a big problem finding a full center back, and the national team captain had to start all four matches with four different center back pairs.
With two days left in the team selection for the matches against Serbia and Slovenia, it doesn’t look like it will be any easier this time around and the derby between Hammarby-Djurgården didn’t bother Jani Andersson. – It’s too early to say. If I get healthy and can play against Gutenberg, I should be able to participate. After the derby, Ikdal says, we will see in the coming days how it goes.

In the national team’s final match against Norway, Hjalmar Ekdal formed a central defender duo with Edvin Kurtulus. Hammarbybacken was praised after the losing match against the neighboring country, but the figure has been up and down the Allsvenskan ever since. – It’s an unnecessary card I take. I want to play the ball but it breaks and out of reaction I pull it down.
What do you think of your chances of joining Jan’s squad again?
– I don’t know, I try not to focus on it too much. I try to do my best here. If you come, I’ll be happy, and if I don’t, I’ll go to Oresta and work even harder to come next time.

The third center back in the derby who may have been on Jan Andersson’s list is Marcus Danielson. The 33-year-old announced in May that his career with the national team was over, although as Danielson began to regain his form again, nothing had changed about the decision.
