In the podcast, Kala also talked about the many concerns she has had to deal with in her career and life.

It is very important to find and recognize that feeling. It might not be something you’re very proud of, but if you can put it into words and find the type of fear, and know the contexts and situations you’re afraid of, you can start looking for why it’s so unpleasant, says Calla in Working Safe.

And you keep talking about a long list of things you’re afraid of and what you’re afraid of.

I was afraid of failure and perhaps above all else I had a fear of how I would be seen. Fear of getting the conditions to do a really good race – but will I be able to keep my mind in place and focus on the task at hand? Or do I finish mentally completely and won’t be able to push myself and deal with the pain?

“It’s not that hard”

Kala was also afraid of not being able to control and plan her life. In addition, she was afraid to say no to things.

If I say no to an event or just find time to meet a good friend in some context, I might be afraid of getting hurt, embarrassed, or making requests, as you say in the podcast before you finally mention:

– Maybe it’s not really that hard to say no. The person you hurt the most is yourself if you try to cram too many commitments into the calendar.
