Robert Berluskog talks about breaking up with Viaplay

Robert Perlskog has always been a regular feature as a commentator on various sports broadcasts, prior to this year his contract with Viaplay was not extended.

Now the 67-year-old is breaking silence about the split.

– I still don’t get it, he says in the Sportstudion podcast.

It’s been seven months Viaplay She chose not to extend the contract with the commentator Robert Berelsky67.

Something Sportbladet was able to reveal earlier in the year.

– Robert has done a very good job with us for several years and championships, and has been appreciated by many of our viewers. But it’s a decision editors can trust, as PR director Fredrik S. Johansson at the Nintent Group emphasized.

Since then, there has been silence regarding the breakup with Viaplay on the part of the commentator.

But on the Sportstudion podcast, Perlskog now talks about breaking up with his former employer, something that will be included in his new book.

It was a real slap in the mouth that I wasn’t prepared for at all. And I still do not understand. But I will tell that story from the ground up. So the book will attract some attention, Berluskog says in the podcast.

Criticism is intended to comment today

Perlskog also takes the opportunity to distribute the climate preamble in today’s live commentary. He mentioned during the podcast that there is a discrepancy in the quality of the commentary as there is usually a lot of talk during matches.

– Forget the timing, says Robert Berluskog and continues:

On the part of the experts, it is purely lectures. I won’t mention any names here but Cmore has a guy who is an expert in the best of Spanish and Italian football. When the ball is in play, the commentator begins to comment, then the expert commentator lecture begins where he lectures more or less for ninety minutes.

Perlskog has a solid career path and started at Radiosporten before ending up at TV4 in the early 1990s.

But what the 67-year-old has been most associated with is handball, with Perlskog/Hellgren being a famous suspension duo that is now split.

Berluskog also admits that it’s hard not to comment anymore.

– It goes a little in waves. She sits and measures on the farm in Småland and thinks it’s very nice, then comes home again, sees old colleagues working on TV and then thinks ‘Damn, it would be fun to be there again’.
