Linkoping won its first win of the season in the SHL
Three consecutive losses and a potential crisis seal in Östergötland.
Then Linköping was getting deeper into the nonsense after a late crash at home against Färjestad.

Linkoping had a tough start to the SHL season with three straight losses. Add in six straight pre-season games without a win, and you’ll understand that self-confidence is not at its peak in Östergötland.
But in the meet at home against current champion Veristad, a trend breaker occurred – even if he is doing well for the foreseeable future.
When Henrik Tornqvist and Sebastian Strandberg made it 2-1, 3-1 within 100 seconds at the start of the third half, it seemed clear and complete.
But the guests showed their spirits and returned. Theodor Linstrom reduced the score with nine minutes remaining, and with only three minutes remaining, the same Linstrom hit the equalizer and took the match into overtime.

Linkoping was the closest to winning there, but Denis Hildeby played hard and took it to a penalty shootout.
Once there, it was Törnqvist who went ahead and beat Hildeby twice again. Thus, the first victory of the season is a reality after winning 4-3.
For Linkoping, the second fun of the week was that he became a father a few days ago.
