Geir Ellefsen never leaves the star out of sight
Erling Braut Haaland, 22, can usually run from most point marks on the football field.
But besides that, he is someone he would never get rid of.

Geir Elfsen served as the head of security for the Norwegian Football Association for 22 years and before that he was the chief of police.
Nowadays, he is one of the few people who have been able to distinguish the most effective attacker in the world currently, Erling Braut Haaland.
If you take a look at the photo archive of the time of the Norwegian national team assembly, Ellefsen usually appears in the background around the Manchester City player. As soon as the 22-year-old reaches Norwegian soil, he is under surveillance.
“Pay more attention to him”
When the team leaves the player’s hotel to be taken to training, sign autographs or when they arrive at the match ground, Ellefsen watches that everything is going well.
I have an extra eye on him (Haaland), but he’s one of many. On the whole, there are no problems, says the director of security for Netavizen.
Norway captain Ståle Solbakken testified that there was a greater security effort around his national team as Haaland developed into a world star.
– We can’t sail any airport with him now. It does not work. We have become aware of this.
