The Swedish Golf Association has ended the collaboration with Henrik Stenson.
Now Ian Poulter is defending his colleague and sees the decision.

Last Thursday, the Swedish Golf Association announced that it was cutting off cooperation with it Henrik Stenson As a result of the star’s decision to join the Saudi-funded LIV tour, which was heavily criticized.

Now England star Ian Poulter – colleague and close friend of Henrik Stenson – is attacking the Swedish Federation.

Henrik Stenson himself wrote of the union’s decision:
“We thank the SGF (Swedish Golf Federation) for the cooperation and wish them all the best for the future and regret that my great commitment and financial support through the Henrik Stenson Foundation is no longer coveted.”
