The RB Salzburg striker responded with an incredible shot to make it 1-0 in the 28th minute.
– The goal was absolutely insane. It’s not something that happens every day, in every game. Benjamin Sisko says this goal will remain in my memory for a very, very long time.
Is it the most beautiful goal you’ve scored?
– Yes, certainly, by far. I am very happy with this goal.
Have you had time to think of someone when the ball was in the air heading towards you?
– I had time to think about whether I should shoot the ball or hit it directly. I decided to shoot right away and see what happens.
– The ball ended up in the net, he says with a big smile.

Do you deserve a point?
– Yes I think so. We worked hard all the way. We were exhausted and tired from the last game (2-1 win over Norway). We fought to the last percentage of our strength and were able to keep the points that keep us in class B. That’s what ultimately matters, says Cisco.
Were you surprised by Sweden’s performance?
Sweden played well. They weren’t so lucky on their part and that was good for us.
Cisco scored as well as Emil Forsberg. In August, the 19-year-old completed a move from Salzburg to Foppa’s RB Leipzig for SEK 250 million. The Slovenian will join next summer.
Have you had time to speak with Forsberg?
– no I did not. Cisco says he’s a really good player and I’m looking forward to playing with him.
