Last Friday, disabled Ulf Sandberg, 52, was beaten to death at Stora Torget in Oskarshamn when he was on his way home from a visit to a restaurant.
Two men are under arrest on suspicion of committing the murder that shook the city.
One of Ulf’s greatest passions in life was to follow the ice hockey team I.K. Oskarshamn. He shared the interest with his brother Bear, a heel leader.
Due to his poor balance, Ulf did not stand in heels himself, but always close to him.
– He and I have been on many long trips together, and that has been such an important part of his life. Per Sandberg told Aftonbladet that there was an incredible commitment from hockey.
The last time the brothers went to a hockey game was last Thursday when IK Oskarshamn met Brenas at the Be-Ge Hockey Center.

Now on Thursday, IK Oskarshamn plays a home game against Frölunda.
Then the club will honor the memory of Ulf Sandberg. In collaboration with Blue Front Support, Oskarshamn will organize a rally in Stora Torget.
