Hjalmar Ekdal and Gustav Wikheim missed Djurgården’s last matches.
Now it looks like the duo will be back against Degerforce.

Gustav Wickheim missed the derby match against Hammarby after injuring the back of his thigh. During the match also forced Hajlmar Akdal Come out with a wrapped thigh. The duo then missed a meeting with Molde in the European League and the match against IFK Gothenburg.
On Thursday, both players returned to full training for the first time since injury concerns and both hope to play against Degerforce on Saturday.
– I think I can play. I drove 70 percent on Mondays and Tuesdays and today was my first full training session, says Ekdal.
The body has responded well today so it feels good. I think I’m technically ready for the games. Then we’ll see what the coaches think and what they plan for the game and the rest of the fall, says Wickheim.
All matches are finals.
Djurgården has an extensive match schedule waiting. After the match against Degerforce, the team faces Gent away, Haken at home, Gent at home, AIK at home, and Malmo away over a two-week period.
All matches will be final. It doesn’t matter who you meet. But if we just keep our heads in place for five weeks, I think we’ll be fine. Ikdal says: We are doing well and it doesn’t matter who plays, everyone delivers.
Who do you think stands the gold race between?
– The league is hard to predict. All teams drop points against everyone all the time, so I don’t really think it’s just between us and Häcken. I think you can decide between them when there are three rounds left, if the difference in points is the same.
What is more important, Allsvenskan or Europe?
– All matches are considered equally important. We have to go to win the Allsvenskan race and we also have to go somewhere to move forward in Europe. It’s hard just showing the shoes somewhere to make them better on the contrary, so I think we’ll give it our all.
