Djurgården suffered a heavy loss in the series final against Häcken. After a quick diversion in the first half, visiting Lars Olden Larsen managed to score the only goal of the match. But it’s not just points dropped in the title fight that Djurgården needs to worry about. Two of the blue team’s key players are forced to change due to injuries.
In the 39th minute of the match, Hambus Wendel and Johan Hammar of Haken collided after a head-on duel. Wendel tried to clear the ball and was hit in the back of the head.
“I got into a duel with Hammer and then headed for the ball, we bumped into and I put his head or elbow in the back of his head,” says Fendell.
Johann Hammer of Hacken on the situation:
– I just look at the ball and jump early. I think I’m going to hit him with a rib in the neck so I’m going to tell him to stretch himself.
‘I got dizzy and dizzy’
The midfielder tried to play after the hit but sat on the field shortly thereafter.

Halfway through the second half, Rasmus Schuller hit the back of his thigh and it looked really sore. The midfielder was forced to step down immediately, unsure about the future.
– I’m not an expert, it’s a feeling in the back but I hope it’s cramping mostly. I ruled I had to cancel and pressed it right away. But it is difficult to make a diagnosis immediately after a game, and I hope to be able to drive again as quickly as possible, says Schuller and continues:
Now it’s like that when we have a lot of matches, there is less recovery and then the risk of cramping is greater. But like I said, I won’t complain about that. We want to play in Europe and we’ll see how you feel in the next few days.
Djurgården’s naprapat Kalle Barrling does not want to comment on the case of Finndell or Schüller.
