Djurgaard’s player Harris Radetenak celebrates in the derby

Haris Radetinac was celebrated with a tifo in the Sofia Coliseum ahead of the derby match against AIK.

Then, the 37-year-old describes his feelings when he saw her.

– I was shocked. But he also says he is happy and proud.

Haris Radetinac has become a club icon in Djurgården and the veteran is very popular with fans. The 37-year-old joined the club in August 2013 and has since played more than 230 matches for the Blue Stripes.

Before the derby match against AIK, where there was a 2-1 loss, he also got his own tifo. It was a large picture of him holding a black and yellow rat in one fist and a blue background where, among other things, you can peek at Stockholm Stadium, Klocktornet and Kaknästornet.

– I was shocked when I saw it so clearly. He says because I didn’t know about her.

What was the first thing you thought of when you saw Ten Feet?

– I was happy and proud when I saw him. Is this really me? It was the first thing I thought of. It’s a shame we couldn’t win the match. It’s tough because we’re playing a really good game, and it’s weird to say when we lose. There was a break there at the end which is useful for them when we are in a good period.

How does it affect the fact that you have suffered many injuries?

It obviously affects when there are many good players away. But I still think those out there are still doing well. Those who replace them do well anyway. It’s hard to say we play a good game when we lose.

Is the gold gone now?

– It’s hard to say. We have to win the next game, because even if we lose gold, we have to finish in the top three. But there are 12 points left to play for.
