When does the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2022 begin?

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18. Usually the tournament is held in the summer, but due to the warm climate in the Middle East, the tournament has been postponed until the winter months.

Who will broadcast the 2022 World Cup?

SVT and TV4/C also own the rights and together will broadcast all matches in WC.

The premiere of the FIFA World Cup, Qatar-Ecuador, is broadcast on TV4 and C More.

The FIFA World Cup Final is broadcast on TV4 and C More.

Where will the 2022 FIFA World Cup be held?

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar. The matches will be held in five different cities, and the capital, Doha, will be the central location for the tournament, where four stadiums will be used. This will be the first time that the FIFA World Cup will be held in the Middle East.

A total of eight stadiums will be used: Al Bayt Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, Lusail Stadium, Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, Education City Stadium and Al Janoub Stadium.

Time difference – When will the 2022 FIFA World Cup be played?

Qatar is one hour ahead of Sweden and matches are played from lunchtime until late in the evening. The kick-off times for the first two rounds of the group stage are 11.00, 14.00, 17.00 and 20.00

From the third group stage onwards, the kick-off times are 16.00 and 20.00

The World Cup Final will take place at 16:00 on December 18th.
