Caroline Seeger, who was injured during the fall, was in the gold race as well.
– It’s always good and fun. Although I had to do it on the sidelines this time, says Seger of SM Gold.
She played a role in the management staff during the injury time.
It was important for me to be close to the team. I have tried to contribute as much as I can and be as close to my experience. It was nice to approach the team in a different way, says Seger.

She definitely doesn’t see herself as a coach.
– I had to contribute what I could, and if I could see something, it helped. But this coaching job is clearly not something I want to do. Seeger says it’d be better if I was there, but he gave me a lot, sure.
She wants to be on the field next season.
– I want to play football, that’s the only thing on my mind. Desire and hunger are there, it would be fun to be there instead of here.
