s lineup – played in Division 1

AIK received the white horse at her home in Hovet.

Then goalkeeper Claes Endre was not in the squad.

He played in Division 1 with Segeltorp.

– It’s not a poke at all, says trainer Anton Blomqvist.

Prior to AIK’s match against Vita Hästen, there was an apparent line-up change. Goalkeeper Claes Endre was absent.

It wasn’t about his injury or illness. Instead, the club sent him to play in Division 1 with Segeltorp.

We thought he needed to play games. At the moment Nicke (Niklas Lundström) plays here and then we chose to loan him out so he could train for matches. Coach Anton Blomqvist explains that he will play here again soon and then he’d better have a game in his legs.

What do you think he needs to go?

Klass is a goalkeeper who plays a lot on feeling and emotion and has a very high level. He has shown it many times. If he wants to find his way back to him, it’s very important that he play matches. Then we’ll see who stands up to Friday, maybe it’s him. But we thought this was a good solution.

Tribute to Andre: “Not badass at all”

Endre was recruited before the season to return to AIK from Björklöven. When he left the Stockholm club after the 20/21 season, he had played largely in the playoffs and had just over 93 save percentage. He didn’t reach that level until this year.

– It’s been a disappointing season, up and down like our defense. It is always online. There’s nothing we should be hanging out about that goalkeepers weren’t good at. It’s difficult to play in defense if we don’t have a good defensive game. It was not easy for them, says Anton Blomqvist.

So it is not a poke?

– of course not.

Doesn’t that sound a little fishy?

– I can understand that and I don’t think it’s common to actually do that. Players are usually against going down a level, seeing it as something ugly. I think it’s very stupid to see it that way. It’s about playing hockey and getting better, and we’ve seen that as a very positive thing. I want to take my hat off to Classe who dares to take this step and is not afraid of his brand. We know he will be very important to us during the season.

Did he also see it positively?

– Of course, otherwise we would not have done it. It was a common decision. He trained with us this morning because we don’t want him to go away. He’ll probably be here soon and leave his stuff, and we’ll be driving again tomorrow.
