What is the background of the initiative?
– I’ve curated many things with different teams over the years, and that’s what it is. But when you have to go see the kids in the hospital, you break down on the inside in so many ways. When you see families spending so much time there, you will feel a little bloody. It is known that much more needs to be done. I felt “what the hell, we’re doing something”. I know a lot of people you can join the train with, and we have an amazing spread. We have received an incredible amount of business.
What will the money lead to?
Everyone wants to spend Christmas at home, but not everyone can do it. For children and families, it is very difficult. First of all, we will decorate the hospital, and we will provide the real Christmas atmosphere. But of course there will be money left over and it will go straight to work. It should directly enter into their daily operations, so that they can be better.
What prompted you to join the initiative?
– I have pads that can be used for good things. It pairs well with what I like. And I think we’re on to something really big. Above all, I have time to sit down and call, and for personal business dealings. There are many who have popularized it as well, such as Callie Schulman, Top Hessen, and Glenn Heisen. It is important to pound until we get the spread we want. Even if you can’t contribute money, you can be sure to get the message out.
Do you have a goal?
– About 50,000 have been collected at the moment by individuals, but they are much more than those collected by companies. We’ll keep a little bit of the total until Christmas Eve, and then we’ll see what happens. The goal will always be to collect as much as possible. Every penny is needed.
