The attackers crushed Spain
Spain entered the World Cup finals.
And with notice.
The opening match against Costa Rica ended in a crushing 7-0 victory.
Argentina failed yesterday and Germany’s shock loss today. The question was whether Spain would also have problems with the WC Cup premiere?
But Luis Enrique’s men put their foot straight against Costa Rica.

Torres became the scorer with two goals in the match when he deceived the Costa Rican defensive line and Keylor Navas into the goal. 4-0 in the 54th minute.
With a quarter of the match remaining, the fifth goal came. And it was beautiful.
Alvaro Morata crossed in the direction of the 18-year-old Javi, who jumped straight in with an outside kick. Crossing the post, the ball then went into the goal, and it was 5-0 true.

The last two goals of the match were scored by Carlos Soler, who made it 6-0, and Morata who made it 7-0.
This was Spain’s biggest ever World Cup victory. The three biggest World Cup wins were for Hungary in 1982 (10-1 against El Salvador), Hungary in 1954 (9-0 against South Korea) and the former Yugoslavia in 1974 (9-0 against Zaire, now Congo-Kinshasa).
The victory means that Spain has a good starting position in Group E. On Sunday, the Spanish national team will face Germany, who thus lost to Japan in their opening match.
