Olympic champion Lisa Dahlqvist ends her football career.
The 35-year-old is giving thanks after, among other things, 134 caps.

When USA goalkeeper Hope Solo tried to psych Dalkvist, the Swedish midfielder kept her cool and propelled Sweden to the semi-finals of the 2016 Olympics.
Career also included four gold medals in SM (three with Umeå IK and one with Tyresö FF), matches in Paris Saint-Germain and many years in the Swedish national team.

Now there will be no more matches, after Umeå IK is relegated from the Women’s League.
“I have decided to end my football career. So in the end, I mostly remember all the good and less good memories as lessons. I am very proud and happy with what I have to be a part of.”writes Dahlkvist on Instagram.
Dahlqvist is happy that his dreams of becoming a professional, winning trophies and playing in the national team have come true.
“I’ve met so many people and their hearts are in the right place and I’ve had so many great laughs along the way. Everyone who laughed with me…Thank you so much”she writes.
