Brook Little writhed in pain on the ice.
The Linköping player was tackled in the knee by Andreas Borgmann and had to be removed from the ice.
It’s not the most respected handler in the world, says Jonas Gunland, LHC captain at Sea Moore.
Loui Eriksson has had a sweet return to Scandinavia. After goals by Patrick Karlsson and Jacob Nilsson, Niklas Laso made it 3-1 in the open box with 27 seconds left.
It was also the end result when Frölunda defeated Linköping.
The star came out injured
For two of the players, their presence on the ice ended midway through the second half.
Then they went out into the dressing room for two different reasons that arose in the same sequence.
In the no-man’s-land, Frölund’s Andreas Borgmann came full speed and delivered a blow that hit Broc Little.
The latter was left lying on the ice, under the care of paramedics before being helped to remove the ball in the dressing room.
For Borgmann, the tackle meant a leg match penalty.
– It’s not the world’s most respected tackle. I’m having a hard time seeing Little play for a while, says LHC Commander Jonas Gunland V.C. Moore.
Junland continues his criticisms.
– It doesn’t belong to hockey. It’s unfortunate for one of our best players, and unacceptable, he says of his handling of a teammate.
Rönnberg about addressing
Frölunda coach Roger Ronberg did not want to talk about the interference in detail with the excuse that he was “the wrong guy to interview”.
– It’s so sad that Little Brook was injured. Then I’m so biased that I’ll only find fault with Broc Little’s way of receiving scrimmage and not with Andreas Borgman, as he said before the second period.
