The verdict came after the scandalous match in the Svenskan hockey: “We are appealing everything.”

Judgment fell on Kristianstad after the scandalous match against Tingrid.

Organizing club Kristianstads IK has been fined SEK 40,000, given warnings and must play a match behind closed doors in stands reserved for home fans.

In the October 28 meeting between FC Kristianstad and Tengrid, things got tense in the stands and on the ice.

With the score 5–1 to the home team Kristianstad five minutes into the third period, the match was stopped due to a stoppage in play.

There was a loud explosion at the Kristianstad rink, whereupon the referees ordered the players and captains into the locker room.

“Attempted murder” Tingsryd AIF coach Frederick Gladyer VC Moore thundered afterwards.

– I suffer from Swedish hockey in general. A fan throws a carpet or a bomb. You land two or three meters away from the goalkeeper. What would happen if he met him? He could have died. It was very dangerous, Gladir told Sportbladet after the match.

Previously, the Ice Hockey Association decided to restart the third period and that the game would be played behind closed doors on November 10.

Now the competition committee has also reached a decision on the interference problems in the match.

Kristianstads IK was found guilty of insecurity and failure to comply with the regulations of the Basic Security Regulations.

He was forced to play in front of empty stands

The club received a 40,000 SEK fine, three warnings, and that the match against Tingsryd at home on 29 December should be played in front of an empty stand intended for home fans.

– We have experts judging and they certainly did their best in making the judgment. I don’t care if there are fans at home for our next match. Nothing to focus on. They behaved at Tingsryd last time, says Tingsryd coach Frederick Glader, who had no idea he’d made a decision on the matter.

Kristianstads IK appealed the decision.

– We have resumed all parts. We believe both stands should be closed for the next match against Tingsryd, among other things. We generally wonder why it should be the highest penalty on the scale when the Ice Hockey League hasn’t taken it up as many would like, says club director Tutt Karstrom.
